Weekly drop-off of your food scraps and compostable materials
A NewTerra Compost bucket and one compostable liner to get you started
After signing up, you’ll receive access to your NewTerra account
You’ll be able to view the lock code for your selected recycling center (codes may change)
Use your NewTerra bucket to collect food scraps at home and bring them to your selected kiosk
Log into your account any time to view the current lock code or purchase more liners
All food, including fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, and bones
Paper napkins and approved compostable products
All items must be de-packaged
Only compostable products with a certification from BPI, CMA, or TUV are accepted.
You will receive one NewTerra bucket and one certified compostable liner at the start of the trial
You are responsible for cleaning your bucket (not required but definitely recommended)
Liners are optional and can be purchased through your account or from other retailers (They must be certified compostable and labeled with BPI, CMA, or TUV)
This is a separate program from our regular kiosk membership
Only Kiosk Trial participants may use the bins at the recycling centers
You must live within Chattanooga city limits to participate
